Alex signed from West Bromwich Albion on a three-and-a-half-year contract on deadline day of the January 2025 transfer window.

The goalkeeper was a product of the Baggies’ youth system, making more than 100 appearances for West Brom and enjoying loan spells at Plymouth Argyle, Lincoln City and other clubs during his time at the Hawthorns. 

The shot-stopper won the EFL Championship Golden Glove in 2023/24 and wears the number 31 shirt for Town.
