Bio

Cameron signed for Town in the summer of 2021 from Accrington Stanley on a three-year deal, with the Club having the option to extend his stay for a further year.

He was a regular in Kieran McKenna’s starting XI during the 2022/23 campaign, making 38 appearances in all competitions during a season which ended with promotion to the Championship.

He turned professional at Fulham in 2013 and made his first-team debut a year later at Portman Road, with the Cottagers losing 2-1 to the Blues on the opening day of the 2014/15 season.

Four loan moves followed before the defender landed a three-year deal at Scunthorpe United in 2017, also spending a season on loan at League Two side Salford City, before joining Accrington in August 2020.

Cameron featured on the international stage for Scotland U18s and U19s before switching his allegiance to Australia, the country his family emigrated to when the centre-back was aged 11.

He has since been capped by the Socceroos at U20 and U23 level.
