Dan Neil joined Town from Sunderland in January 2026 on loan until the end of the 2025/26 season.
He has spent his entire career at the Black Cats, playing a central role in two promotions taking them from League One to the Premier League, captaining the side in the second of those promotions which was secured in the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final at Wembley in May 2025.
Dan made a total of 201 appearances for Sunderland, scoring 12 goals, after making his professional debut in September 2020.
