Exequiel Palacios joined Town from German side Bayern Leverkusen on a deal until the summer of 2030.

The midfielder becomes the first World Cup-winner to sign for Town, having been part of the Argentinian side which won the 2022 tournament in Qatar and has won the Copa America on two occasions with his national team.

Exequiel won the Bundesliga, German Cup and German Super Cup during his time in Leverkusen, as well as the Copa Libertadores with his boyhood club River Plate.

His Town debut came against Manchester United in the Premier League, coming on as a second half substitute at Old Trafford.
