Kayden joined Town in the summer of 2018, signing for an undisclosed fee from Accrington Stanley. 

He passed the 150-appearance mark for the Club during the 2022/23 campaign, during which he scored four goals to help Town win promotion back to the Championship. 

He began his time with the Blues playing as a central striker but has adapted to a wide role under manager Kieran McKenna, where he has become an important member of the Town squad. 

Prior to joining the Blues, Kayden helped Accrington win the League Two title in 2017/18 and has also previously represented Tamworth, Wrexham, Barnsley and Grimsby during a professional career which began at Swindon Town.
