The winger joined Town in the summer of 2021, signing on a free transfer after leaving West Bromwich Albion. 

He had come through the youth system at The Hawthorns, making a total of 49 appearances for the club and scoring four goals while also representing the Baggies in the Premier League. 

His first Ipswich season saw him make 22 appearances in all competitions, before a further 41 followed in his second campaign, as he helped Town win promotion to the Championship. 

Kyle’s two goals off the bench in the October victory over Cambridge United proved vital, as did his assist for Freddie Ladapo in the reverse fixture at the Abbey Stadium.
