Bio
Wes joined Town in the summer of 2021 on a three-year contract, becoming the first signing of an incredibly busy summer transfer window.
He made an instant impact, topping the club’s scoring charts in his first season in Suffolk and sweeping the board at the Club’s end-of-season awards.
His efforts saw him sign a new contract in the summer of 2022, keeping him at Portman Road until 2025, before the Welshman continued to be an influential figure during his second campaign.
The attacker scored nine goals and contributed 11 assists during a season which saw him score dramatic winning goals against Portsmouth and Derby, while also netting in the 6-0 victory over Exeter City which secured promotion to the Championship.
During his time with Town, Wes has made his international debut for Wales, representing his country for the first time in a Nations League clash with Poland in June 2022.
Prior to joining the Blues, the attacker spent four seasons with Fleetwood Town, having come through the Bristol City youth system, and spent loan spells with Forest Green, Oxford, Cheltenham Town and Aberdeen.
