Luke signed for Town on loan from Wolves in the 2021 January transfer window.
The full-back burst on to the scene with Rochdale, and made his debut for the Greater Manchester side in 2018 at the age of 15 years and 336 days.
Having secured a regular spot for The Dale, he hit national headlines in September of the following year after scoring the equaliser in a 1-1 Carabao Cup draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Luke signed for Wolves in January 2020 before rejoining Rochdale on loan for the remainder of last campaign.
Away from club football, the Fallowfield-born teenager has represented England at U17 and U18 level.
He wears the number 41 shirt for Town.
