A box-to-box midfielder who made his stay at Portman Road a permanent one in the summer of 2017 following a successful loan spell in the second half of the 16/17 campaign.

Emyr signed a 4-year contract with the Blues having joined from Cardiff City as Town beat off the competition to secure the signature of the Welshman.

Capped a number of times for his country, Emyr scored three times during his initial loan spell with the Club, including a Goal of the Season contender against Newcastle.
