Boss praises the support from the fans against Newcastle and wants more of the same going forward
The Blues put on a fine display in front of a jubilant home crowd, as Freddie Sears, David McGoldrick and Emyr Huws all found the net to secure all three points.
“It’s been a bit nervy for a while and that’s transmitted to the crowd,” the boss told the official Club website.
“But the atmosphere against Newcastle was fabulous.
“That’s how you do it on a day like that, in front of 25,000 we were exciting and entertained the crowd, we made them feel happy.
“We had those sort of attendances for a while when we finished in the top six and my aim is to get the place bouncing like that again.”
