Danny Rowe reflects on a bittersweet day at the New York Stadium as he made his full Town debut
Danny Rowe admits to having a bittersweet feeling coming away from the 1-0 defeat at Rotherham.
The former Macclesfield man was disappointed to have been beaten at the hands of the already relegated Millers, but was pleased to have made his first start for the Blues.
"It was good to get out on the pitch and make my full debut but it was a disappointing end result," he told Ipswich Player HD.
"I found out on Friday when we practised our shape but we knew he was going to make changes and had to be ready.
"I was glad to make my debut, but I'm just a bit gutted about the result.
"I had four or five shots and I maybe should have done better with one or two of them but I'm hoping the more I play, the more it'll come.
"I didn't think there was much in the game, it was a bit scrappy, but we had chances that we didn't take and they took theirs.
"I've enjoyed being here, so I just need to keep pushing now and hopefully I'll be involved again before the end of the season."
