Loanee Lawrence selected for vital qualifier against Ireland
Tom Lawrence has been named in the Wales for their upcoming World Cup qualifier against Ireland.
The Leicester loanee already has five senior caps to his name with the most recent of those coming in a 1-1 draw with Serbia in Cardiff during the last international break in November.
He has been in superb form since the turn of the year, scoring nine times in 13 appearances in 2017 so far, and will be hoping to replicate that for his country in their vital qualifier.
There's a chance he could face off against Town team-mate David McGoldrick in Dublin, with his strike-partner selected for Martin O'Neil's side.
Fellow Welshmen, Emyr Huws and Jonny Williams both missed out on Chris Coleman's 23-man squad, with the latter still returning to fitness after injury.
