Rail disruption for trip to Southend
Supporters looking to go to Town’s match at Southend on October 26 should be aware there are no rail services in operation between Shenfield and Southend Victoria on that day.
Engineering works over that weekend mean a bus service will be running instead, putting an extra 90 minutes on the journey.
Supporters going by train could look at travelling into London and getting the Fenchurch Street to Southend Central line instead, however the quickest route is by road. From Portman Road to Roots Hall via A12, A130 and A127 should take 90 minutes and you will still have time for an ice cream on the sea front!
Tickets go on sale 9am Monday for the game with prices and official Club coach details on the ticket page of the website.
