SKIPPER PREVIEWS LINCOLN TRIP

23 October 2020

"I don’t think one bump in the road can put us off what we’ve been working on for the last few months"

Luke Chambers says that it's important for Town to stick to the style of football that they have been playing so far this season.

Doncaster ended Blues' unbeaten start to 2020/21 in midweek, Paul Lambert's side having picked up 16 points from a possible 18 before the trip to South Yorkshire.

Town's skipper says that the Rovers defeat is now behind them and that they are only looking forward ahead of this afternoon's fixture at Lincoln.

"I’m enjoying the way we are trying to play and I don’t think one bump in the road can put us off what we’ve been working on for the last few months," Chambo told iFollow Ipswich.

"If you’re not on your game and there’s too many of us that aren’t performing, then that will happen. The team at the top of the league, Hull, had one of them a few weeks ago against Fleetwood.

"We've put that to bed and look forward to trying to bounce back. We have to continue to do what brought us success in the first six games."

Lincoln vs Town is available to watch live on iFollow Ipswich with a match pass costing £10.
