ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW | CHARLTON (H)

29 April 2022

Over 25,000 tickets sold already

Town welcome Charlton Athletic to Portman Road tomorrow lunchtime in front of another bumper crowd.

The action will get under way at 12.30pm, with sales already past the 25,000 mark, as Kieran McKenna's side aim to finish the season with three points.

Jonnie Jackson's side have won their last two games 2-0 against Shrewsbury and Cambridge United respectively.

The below guide takes you through all you need to know ahead of tomorrow's match:

Tickets

Over 25,000 tickets have already been sold. Ticket sales will run up until kick-off. They can be purchased on the day online via tickets.itfc.co.uk or from the matchday ticket office on Constantine Road from 10am.

No on-the-day sales will take place in Planet Blue, with supporters are encouraged to buy their tickets online and in advance of the match.

You will have a recommended entry time on your match ticket. Please try and stick to this time as this will help with the flow of supporters. These are only a guide, though, and you will not be denied entry if you miss your slot.

Season ticket holders will not have an allocated entry time, but are still strongly advised to arrive in plenty of time.

The ticket office phone lines (03330 050530) are open from 10am until midday on Saturday. The ticket office is also contactable on email via mainticketoffice@itfc.co.uk.

The away ticket office on Portman Road will be open from 10am for any ticketing enquiries, while the disabled entrance on Constantine Road will open from midday.

Mobile friendly turnstiles

Supporters with print at home or mobile tickets can scan them through the below turnstiles tomorrow afternoon. Season ticket holders and phyiscal ticket holders can also scan through these turnstiles.

Sir Alf Ramsey Stand – 2,5,6 & 59

Cobbold Stand – 18, 20 & 21

Sir Bobby Robson Stand – 33, 34 & 35

Magnus Group West Stand – 43, 44 & 57

Covid-19

Covid passes are no longer a condition of entry. The Club encourages the use of face coverings in indoor areas such as concourses and toilets.

We also encourage supporters to stay at home if they are suffering from Covid-19 symptoms.

Please maintain good hand hygiene at all times around the stadium. Use the sanitiser dispensers provided and avoid touching your face, or handles and railings whenever possible.

There will be no lateral flow testing centre in Alderman Park going forwards.

FanZone

The FanZone will be open at 10.30am tomorrow. Over 4,200 fans visited the FanZone against Cambridge United, and we've plenty going on tomorrow:

Entrance is through Gate 1A on Sir Alf Ramsey Way with a valid match ticket. All home fans are welcome.

Supporters who sit in the West Stand are now able to scan through turnstile 57 & 58 into the FanZone and then access the West Stand through the double gate opposite the conferencing & hospitality entrance as opposed to exiting the FanZone and queuing up for the turnstiles.

How to follow

If you're unable to get to Portman Road to cheer the boys on, for UK based fans, audio passes are available to purchase for £2.50 which is BBC Radio Suffolk's commentary.

Overseas fans can watch Town on iFollow. For more information, please click here.

The Club's Twitter feed will also be providing frequent updates so you don't miss a kick!

Planet Blue
Open from 9am until kick-off, before closing at 5pm.

The Planet Blue retail unit in the FanZone will be open alongside Planet Bluey in the Magnus Group West Stand.

Lap of appreciation

The players and staff will take part in the annual lap of appreciation after the full-time whistle. The players will briefly go back into the dressing room before coming back out to applaud the supporters.

Around Portman Road
Flower beds have been installed at Princes Street end of Portman Road, meaning that supporters parking in the NCP Portman Road car park will need to either turn right towards Handford Road or go straight over down Sir Alf Ramsey Way.
