Tickets for original date valid for tomorrow

Town will welcome Lincoln City to Portman Road tomorrow evening, with the aim of securing back-to-back wins following the weekend's success at Fleetwood.

The Blues sit in ninth place in the League One table and are looking to maintain pressure on the top six, while the Imps occupy 18th position.

Michael Appleton's side put breathing space between them and the drop zone with an impressive 3-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

The below guide takes you through all you need to know ahead of tomorrow's match under the lights:


Just over 25,000 tickets have already been sold. Ticket sales will run up until kick-off. They can be purchased on the day online via or from the matchday ticket office on Constantine Road from 5.30pm.

No on-the-day sales will take place in Planet Blue, with supporters encouraged to buy their tickets online and in advance of the match.

Tomorrow's match is rescheduled from the postponed New Year's Day fixture. Tickets from the original date are valid for tomorrow's match.

The away ticket office on Portman Road will be open from 1pm for any ticketing enquiries, while the disabled entrance on Constantine Road will open at midday.

Football Stands Together

The Club will be showing solidarity for Ukraine at tomorrow's match. Ukrainian coloured corner flags, a photo with both players and a minute's applause will take place before kick-off.

Mobile friendly turnstiles

Supporters with print at home or mobile tickets can scan them through the below turnstiles tomorrow afternoon. Season ticket holders and phyiscal ticket holders can also scan through these turnstiles.

  • Sir Alf Ramsey Stand – 4,5,6 & 59
  • Cobbold Stand – 18, 20 & 21
  • Sir Bobby Robson Stand – 33, 34 & 35
  • Magnus Group West Stand – 43, 44 & 57


Covid passes are no longer a condition of entry. The Club encourages the use of face coverings in indoor areas such as concourses and toilets.

We also encourage supporters to stay at home if they are suffering from Covid-19 symptoms.

Please maintain good hand hygiene at all times around the stadium. Use the sanitiser dispensers provided and avoid touching your face, or handles and railings whenever possible.

There will be no lateral flow testing centre in Alderman Park going forwards.


The FanZone will be open at 5.30pm tomorrow. *Subject to weather conditions.

Entrance is through Gate 1A on Sir Alf Ramsey Way with a valid match ticket. All home fans are welcome. 

Supporters who sit in the West Stand are now able to scan through turnstile 57 & 58 into the FanZone and then access the West Stand through the double gate opposite the conferencing & hospitality entrance as opposed to exiting the FanZone and queuing up for the turnstiles.

How to follow

If you're unable to attend tomorrow's match at Portman Road, supporters can watch on iFollow Ipswich by purchasing a match pass for £10.

The Club's official Twitter account will also be providing frequent updates so you don't miss a kick! 

Planet Blue
Open from 10am until kick-off and open for 30 minutes after the full-time whistle.

The Planet Blue retail unit in the FanZone will be open alongside Planet Bluey in the Magnus Group West Stand.

Matchday Programme
The matchday programme will be available to purchase from Planet Blue, or from 5pm at the blue kiosks dotted around the stadium. Dominic Thompson is the feature interview in tomorrow's edition which costs £3.50.

Around Portman Road
Flower beds have been installed at the Princes Street end of Portman Road, meaning that supporters parking in the NCP Portman Road car park will need to either turn right towards Handford Road or go straight over down Sir Alf Ramsey Way.

Previous meetings

Town and Lincoln have met on 19 occassions with the Blues coming out on top most recently at LNER Stadium. A Macauley Bonne header secured the three points back in September.
