'Keeper to remain at Portman Road until the summer of 2018, after the Club exercised an option to extend his deal by a further 12 months
Dean Gerken has seen his contract extended by a further year, keeping him at Town until the summer of 2018.
The stopper's existing deal was set to expire in June, but the Club have moved to trigger an extension in his contract and secure his services for another season.
Dean arrived at Portman Road in 2013, signing a deal after impressing on trial and quickly establishing himself as number one for the Blues, ahead of Scott Loach.
Since then, the former Colchester and Bristol City man has fought it out with Bartosz Bialkowski for a starting spot between the sticks, building up a great rapport with his teammate.
The custodian has made 91 appearances for the Blues, 28 of those coming last season.
