The Town boss praises both Bartosz Bialkowski and Dean Gerken for the work they put in on the training field and out on the pitch
Gerken saved an early penalty from Danny Ward in Town’s trip to Rotherham at the weekend, getting down well to his left, and Mick was full of praise for his second-choice shot stopper.
“It was a quality save,” Mick told Ipswich Player HD.
“There’s no bad penalty save, but he did really well there.
“Part of the reason Bart (Bialkowski) has been so good this season is down to Gerks (Gerken).
“The two push each other. They train and work really hard together and they are two of the best at this level.
“Gerks should be encouraged by his performance. It didn’t look like he hadn’t been playing recently.
“Bart needs to be on his toes because Gerks is always ready.”
