Jonas Knudsen happy to share his derby celebrations with the Town faithful following 1-1 draw at Carrow Road
Jonas Knudsen admits feelings like the elation of scoring the opener against Norwich at Carrow Road is the reason he plays football.
The defender scored his second in as many games against the Blues’ East Anglian rivals, and he was delighted to share the moment with the supporters.
“Two in two derbies now, so that’s brilliant; I love it,” he told Ipswich Player HD.
“You can see how much it meant to the fans, and it was a big game for them, so when I scored I seen so many people celebrating and I wanted to celebrate with them.
“That’s passion, and what football is about. The fans pay our wages so a huge thanks to them for their support.
“It’s the kind of match you play football for. You could feel the atmosphere before the game, you can feel it after the game and you could feel it in the game so it was a really good one to play in.”
