Town striker reflects on Town's 3-0 home defeat to Derby
Freddie Sears admits times are tough at present, but stresses the importance of everybody sticking together.
The Blues were defeated 3-0 by Derby at Portman Road this evening, and the striker knows that results need to be turned around as soon as possible.
"We're looking down the table at the minute so we've got to get away from that bottom zone and start pushing up the league," he told Ipswich Player HD.
"We haven't given the fans anything to shout about tonight. We're 2-0 down early, but they stuck with us.
"We were booed off at half-time but in the second-half they were with us and we can't ask much more than that.
"It's a cliche, but we've all got to stick together because it's tough out there at the minute.
"It was a sucker punch on Saturday losing the late goal, but tonight we've let ourselves, and the fans down, but we've got to go again on Saturday and try to get some points on the board."
