A young Town U23 side travel to Cardiff this evening to take on the Bluebirds

Michael Crowe could be set to return from injury as a young Town U23 squad travel to Wales today to take on Cardiff City.

The Welsh U21 stopper has been out of action since injuring his knee in a 2-2 draw with Colchester in October, but has been named in the squad to face the Bluebirds.

New Zealand international, Monty Patterson, is also included, as are James Blanchfield and Joe Robinson who have both been close to first-team action in recent weeks.

Gerard Nash's side will be looking to record their first win of 2017 having been beaten 3-2 by Colchester at Playford Road last Monday, with kick-off at the Cardiff City stadium due to take place at 7pm.
