Defender signs for the Blues on a deal until the end of the season subject to paperwork as Town secure second signing of the day
Town have agreed a deal to sign Jordan Spence on a deal until the end of the season, subject to paperwork.
The 26 year-old right-back trained with his new teammates this morning, before arriving at Portman Road to sign his contract and finalise the deal.
Jordan, who began his career at West Ham United and ended last season in the Championship with MK Dons, becomes Mick McCarthy's second signing of the day, following the arrival of Kieffer Moore from Forest Green Rovers.
The defender, who has also represented Bristol City, Sheffield Wednesday, Leyton Orient and Scunthorpe United during his career, is unavailable to make his debut against Lincoln tomorrow in the FA Cup but is eligible to feature against Huddersfield at the weekend.
The tall defender has also represented England at U21 level and arrives at Portman Road with plenty of Football League experience.
